The Cat in the Hat

A couple weeks ago was Dr. Suess Week.  We had a spirit day for every day of the week that corresponded with a Dr. Suess book.  On Friday, we made green eggs and ham in our classroom and the Cat in the Hat came to visit.  The kids had a great time and were so excited to see the Cat.

New Students

During the past two weeks we have added two new faces to our classroom.  We have a new girl and a new boy.  The little girl joined us about 3 weeks ago and the boy joined us this week.  We are so happy to have them!

Plants!

Hey everyone! Sorry it has taken so long to write something on here. We have been really busy the past couple weeks with end of the quarter testing and Spring activities. Last we started learning about plants and the kids are really enjoying this topic. We planted marigolds and grass. They were really surprised when they came back to school today and found the grass shooting out of their cups. They will be bringing those home this evening and next week they will bring their marigolds home. Be sure to ask them about what plants needs and especially about the plants they planted. They are very proud of them!
