Easter Activities

This week we celebrated the holiday that is coming up in an educational way.  We had two big projects that we did.  On Tuesday we went on an egg hunt.  Each student had to find four different eggs.  One with a square, one with a triangle, one with a star, and the last with a circle.  After they found their eggs, they students then had to record what color each egg was before they could open the egg up and see the surprise inside.
On Wednesday, we dyed eggs.  The kids had to predict what color their eggs would turn out if they double dipped their eggs.  They had a great time!

Duck Tape Mr. Olmstead

Last week the school had a fund raiser to raise money for foster children.  The school raised over $430.00.  We were so proud of our school.  The grade that raised the most money got the opportunity to duck tape Mr. Olmstead to the wall.  The kids were so excited and amazed!  Everyone got to watch as the third graders taped him to the wall.  It was an exciting morning!
